Here are real examples of StockPuzzle use. |
Example 1
Trader chooses a stocks according to value of technical indicator. For instance, trader needs a stock that oversold or overbought. In that case trader selects technical indicator's levels. Let's take a look on Relative Strength Index (RSI). It is an extremely useful and popular oscillator. The RSI ranges from 0 to 100, but a stock is considered overbought if it reaches the 70 level, meaning that you should consider selling. Likewise, if the RSI approaches 30, it is a strong buying indicator.
There are different levels for different indicators. StockPuzzle will generate stocks that satisfy such parameters. It's the easiest way to find stock that are oversold or overbought. According to this information traders can determine buy and sell signals.
On the graph below you can see an example of MSFT. RSI is 30. This means that stock is oversold. Good time to buy MSFT!
e-MasterTrade provides the great opportunity to get such results. Just Enter params - StockPuzzle will do the rest!!!
Example 2
There is news: American automaker stocks have grown as a whole. Questions arising:
- It is not known what companies have grown and how much;
- It is also not known, whether there are falling stocks present against a background of general growth;
- If there are, what are those stocks, and how much they have fallen.
StockPuzzle answers all those questions at once. It is enough to select as automaker analysis parameter just one - that of the yield.
Here is what StockPuzzle will produce.

Then StockPuzzle chooses the most typical stocks in these groups. In this example they are FSS, F, and VC tickers.
Analyzing to this parameter (remember, that in our example yield is used as parameter), one can see that:
- the stocks grow unevenly;
- there are falling stocks against the general growth background;
- there is a group of "gainers" - stocks grown about 20%;
- there is a group of "losers" stocks - their prices have gone down by approximately 15%;
- there is a group "moderately growing" - their growth makes about 8%;
- the groups are different in size - two out of three groups are growing, while "moderately growing" is the biggest group;
- composition of each group is known.
Imagine now that you have to analyze several parameters and greater number of stocks at once. Do you know any other way to do it?
e-MasterTrade is the only on-line company providing an opportunity of working with such a unique tool as StockPuzzle.
