Working with Indicator4Cast starts with selection of required forecast parameters in "Calculation parameters setup" table.

Ticker field
Ticker field is used to enter stock ticker, for which price forecast calculation is required. In this example Intuit Inc. ticker is selected.
 button allows finding a stock ticker by its name.
Indicator field
Indicator field is used to select indicator for which calculations will be carried out. In this case, MACD indicator is selected.
Use button on the right of "Indicator" field to set up your required indicator parameters. Technical indicator parameter setup window will open.

First date for prediction field
This field is used to enter starting date for selected indicator forecast. In this example, November 25, 2002 is selected.
The button on the right allows selecting in the drop-down calendar the date required.
If a past date is entered into First date for Prediction field, forecast results for all past days will be displayed together with real indicator values, allowing to assess of historical stock forecasting accuracy.
Points ahead field
This field is used to select indicator forecast duration (1 to 5 days) gets out. In this example, 4 days are selected.
